Cedar Rapids goalie Mike Johnson committed to Notre Dame. Johnson is a Madison, Wisconsin native, so there was a lot of speculation that he might end up with the Badgers, but apparently the timing just didn't work out.
Johnson exceled in the USHL this year, and will likely take over the starting job for the Irish once Brad Phillips graduates.
