Genoway Staying at North Dakota

North Dakota defenseman Chay Genoway announced he will stay at North Dakota for his senior season rather than entertain professional offers.

It's probably not a bad decision. Genoway was one of the best players in the WCHA this year, but at his size, his odds of a long NHL career aren't in his favor, and any move to pro hockey would likely include at least a year in the minor leagues. This way, he'll be able to finish school for free and possibly lead North Dakota to another WCHA league title.
