Sports Illustrated sent their big guns to St. Paul two weeks ago, by having veteran hockey writer Michael Farber write an excellent--albeit somewhat fluffy piece--on the Edina boy's hockey team. It's a nice article about players who choose to stay with their local high school and the purity of high school tournament. I'm sure the people from Champlin Park are saying, "Hey, where were you at the Class A tournamen?" But overall, I think it does a great job as capturing the spirit of the thing, and shows why the tournament is so enjoyable.
