There was a big loss in the Notre Dame hockey family this past weekend as radio voice Mike Lockert died in his sleep early Friday morning. He was 44.
Lockert was well respected for his enthusiasm and love of college hockey. Last year, he wrote an article for CCHA.com telling his story of how he become a college hockey radio announcer.
