2010 NHL Draft Linkorama

This website has been tracking some of the various draft lists out there and trying to compile them. They've got a pretty solid list of 210 different players. It is missing a couple kids with really hot starts to this season. The Chicago Steel's Shair Gill is currently leading the USHL in scoring, while Caleb Herbert leads the Midwest Elite League in scoring. Both of those are pretty impressive feats and I would guess you'll start hearing a lot more about those kids as the year progresses.

Red Line Report made their annual attention grab by putting Some Kid You Wouldn't Suspect at number one in their draft rankings. Derek Forbort and Jaden Schwartz are 9 and 10 in their rankings--and if you paid attention to the first link, Nick Bjugstad is 12, Riley Sheahan 14, Max Gardiner 18, Stephen Johns 19, Jarred Tinrodi 26. Brock Nelson and Charlie Coyle are also singled out as players on the rise.

Future Considerations talks about some American prospects, though it's pretty superficial stuff.
