Rosemount HS defenseman Luke McManus has committed to Minnesota-Duluth for the 2009 season.
McManus and the Rosemount Irish are having an excellent season, currently atop the competitive Lake Conference in the Twin Cities. McManus is fourth on the Irish in scoring.
Mcmanus visited Duluth in early January. He also received interest from Providence, Wisconsin, and Colorado College. The Bulldogs have also reportedly expressed interest in one of McManus' teammates, forward JT Brown, who is one of the top scorers in the Twin Cities metro area this season.
