Grieco to OHL

The Grand Forks Herald is reporting that North Dakota goalie Anthony Grieco has left the team and will play for Mississauga in the OHL.

It's probably not a huge loss for North Dakota. Grieco struggled as a freshman while Jean-Phillippe Lamoureux was out with an injury, and prospects of playing much this season looked grim with Jean-Phillippe Lamoureux playing so well to start the season. After Lamoureux graduates, the Sioux will bring in a top goalie prospect in Brad Eidsness, so Grieco's chances of playing much didn't look great.

Walk-on Aaron Walski will now be the back-up for Lamoureux.
