INCH had a pretty amazing story about Michigan Tech coach Jamie Russell.

Jean-Phillippe Lamoureux leads INCH's Hobey Watch.

Former Michigan forward Eric Nystrom scored his first NHL goal last night, with an assist from another former Michigan player, David Moss. To reprise one of my favorite Hobart Higgins quotes, "You can't play in the NHL unless you can score a lot of points at a lower level. Sorry Eric Nystrom."

Runnin' with the Dogs gets creative.

Anchorage's Nils Backstrom didn't break his leg. Neither did any of their other players, as far as I know.

Meet Steve Wagner.

Former Minnesota State forward Kevin Huck has transferred to UW-Superior.

The WCHA Blog took videos of some NTDP players on Sunday in their exhibition against St. Cloud.

For the record, anyone drawing conclusions from St. Cloud's tie on Sunday probably shouldn't. The Huskies sat captains Matt Stephenson, Nate Dey, and Garrett Raboin, and leading scorer Garrett Roe left midway through the game with a minor injury. With it being an exhibition, and the Huskies not wanting to risk injury, they didn't play a very physical game, and the more skill-game seemed to benefit the U18 team.

The U18 looked better than they did at the NAHL Showcase, but passing the puck still seems like a last resort for most of the team.

Every player on Miami's team that has played in all 6 games so far has scored a point this year.

Former North Dakota defenseman Matt Greene broke his ankle. The video isn't for the squeamish.
