As part of their season preview, the WCHA Blog looked at the top returning scorers for each team.

In case anyone missed the video in the post about Joe Rogers, here it is.

Anchorage recruit Jeff Carlson made it through the NCAA Clearinghouse and will join the Seawolves midway through this season, which is good to see. Also in the link, Chris Tarkir and a couple teammates are living in an apartment where two people have now died. The housing market can't be that bad in Anchorage.

The UAA Fan Blog also looks at what it will take to get home ice in the WCHA. It looks like a team will need 30 points to do it.

Little Falls, Minnesota has a new team in the MNJHL this year. Little Falls is a small enough community that this might actually work, but I don't anticipate a big traveling rivalry between themselves and St. Cloud like is mentioned in the article.

The Kelowna Rockets are getting rid of game programs. With the internet, I suppose it makes some sense now. I could see this trend catching on elsewhere.

Compuware '92s won their first tournament of the season. The Jr. Canadiens, who are expected to be one of the top teams in Canada, lost in the quarterfinals.
