Wisconsin recruit Garrett Suter was released by Omaha. I still haven't the heard the circumstances of his release, but it's another bad sign for Suter ever making it to Wisconsin, where he committed two years ago.

Defending Class A state champion St. Thomas Academy reportedly beat section rival Red Wing 2-1.

Apparently Fox Sports North has started calling the line of Ben Gordon, Blake Wheeler, and Jay Barriball the "Presidential Line" because of the first letter of each's last name. That has to be one of the dumbest nicknames I've ever heard.
