Sweatt Out?

Talented Colorado College freshmen Billy Sweatt didn't play in last Saturday's loss to New Hampshire, and all signs seem to be pointing toward Sweatt possibly having mononucleosis. Sweatt reportedly was scheduled to see a specialist early this week to determine whether or not he had mono. If that is the case, Sweatt would likely miss at least a month, and possibly more, since it would definitely affect his conditioning.

The Tigers, who got swept at home last weekend, will miss Sweatt's offensive abilities when they travel to Minnesota this weekend to take on the Gophers.

Update

Colorado Springs Gazette writer Kate Crandall confirms that Sweatt has mono. Another freshmen, Nate Prosser, also will not play due to a pretty serious concussion.

Meanwhile, opponent Minnesota will have their own health problems, though Justin Bostrom should be the only one to miss time this weekend.
