Former Boston College forward Evan Richardon is transferring to the University of Connecticut to join the coach that recruited him to Chestnut Hill, according to Will Moran, the voice of UConn hockey on the radio.
Richardson, a former BCHL standout with Powell River, will be joining former BC associate head coach Mike Cavanaugh who is now the bench boss at UConn.
Richardson played in just four games as a freshman at BC this past winter, tallying two goals. The Nanaimo, British Columbia native is an undersized yet highly skilled forward that fits well into the system that Cavanaugh wants to run in Storrs.
