Thayer Academy '98 forward Monte Graham committed to Boston College over the weekend. The Hanover, Mass. native is an elusive skater with a scoring touch. Graham, who plays split season midget hockey for the Cape Cod Whalers, had an impressive season in prep hockey last year, but his performance at the USA Hockey Select 16 Fesitval this past July set him apart.
Graham had three goals and five assists, leading his team in scoring, one point ahead of BU recruit Hank Crone. A pupil of former NHLer and BU alum Tony Amonte at Thayer, he had nine goals and 12 assists in 26 games last winter. Graham is expected to arrive at Boston College for either the fall of 2016 o 2017.
