New NCHC members North Dakota and Nebraska-Omaha both have games on CBS Sports Net this year - Matthew Semisch

CBS Sports Net kicks off the Friday night slate with a doubleheader October 18th and culminates with the NCHC Championship Game March 22nd.

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) and CBS Sports Network announced Wednesday the full 18 game television schedule.

"We are excited about our partnership with CBS Sports Network. The NCHC is committed to showcasing our conference nationally and the relationship with CBS Sports Network helps us accomplish this goal," said new NCHC Commissioner, Josh Fenton.

The inaugural season kicks off October 18th with a conference doubleheader featuring North Dakota at Miami and Minnesota-Duluth at Colorado College. All games, with the exception of the NCHC championship played at the Target Center in Minneapolis, will be on Friday nights.

"We are proud to be the NCHC's national television partner and are looking forward to an exciting inaugural season, showcasing some of the best college hockey in the country," said Dan Weinberg, Senior Vice President, Programming, CBS Sports Network.

Of the 8 conference teams, North Dakota is featured the most on CBS Sports Network with 6 games. They are followed by Miami (5 games).

Western Michigan, Colorado College and St. Cloud State will each appear 4 times.

On the other end of the spectrum, Nebraska-Omaha and Denver - two teams prominently featured on NBC Sports Network last year - have one and two games on CBS Sports Network, respectively. Minnesota-Duluth also is featured twice.
