Big Ten Hockey: Minnesota vs. Michigan State Friday night line combinations

Christian Isackson (#26) is in the lineup tonight - Minnesota Athletics

Connor Reilly takes Tom Serratore's spot for Minnesota while Ben Marshall sits. Jake Hildebrand gets the nod in net for Michigan State.

Although Minnesota (11-2-1, 2-0-0-0 Big Ten) made a couple moves public before Friday's game against Michigan State (5-7-0, 0-0-0-0 Big Ten), there is still one which comes as a surprise.

Junior defenseman Ben Marshall (Detroit Red Wings) sits Friday for the top-ranked Gophers. In his place is freshman Jake Bischoff (New York Islanders), who missed both games against Wisconsin as the odd man out on the blue line. Head coach Don Lucia said he would play following the series against the Badgers and indeed Bischoff is in Friday.

Minnesota freshman forward Taylor Camamrata (Islanders) returns as Tom Serratore (lower body injury) and Vinni Lettieri (unspecified) did not make the trip. Redshirt freshman Connor Reilly takes Serratore's place. A.J. Michaelson, Christian Isackson (Buffalo Sabres) and Gabe Guertler all start together on the fourth line.

Adam Wilcox is in goal for Minnesota. Jake Hildebrand gets the nod for Michigan State.
