Power Play Lifts Maine Over UMass-Lowell
Blaine Byron scored the game-winning goal with 3:33 to play in the game on the man advantage to help lift Maine past UMass-Lowell on Sunday afternoon at the Alfond Arena. Ben Hutton and Cam Brown also scored power play goals for the Black Bears.

Providence Rallies, Forces 3-3 Tie at Northeastern
Northeastern scored just seven seconds into the game and held a 3-0 advantage after 40 minutes, but that didn't deter Providence. The Friars stormed back for three unanswered goals in the third period to force a 3-3 tie with the Huskies on Friday.

otre Dame stayed undefeated in league games on home ice on Friday evening with a 5-3 victory over visiting Massachusetts. Mario Lucia had two goals and an assist while Sam Herr, Jeff Costello and Andy Ryan all added scores for the Fighting Irish.

Merrimack head coach Mark Dennehy has kicked Shawn Bates off the hockey team. The senior from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta had played in 10 games this season without registering a point.

Boston College head coach Jerry York changed up his first line after two straight losses. The decision paid off as Johnny Gaudreau, Kevin Hayes and Bill Arnold exploded to give the Eagles a 6-2 victory over visiting New Hampshire at Conte Forum.
